Childcare

Great Lakes Health and Fitness offers the best experience possible for families. Childcare is available during a parents’ workout for children eight weeks to 10 years of age. Our trained caregivers will care for your children while you take some time for yourself. The room is equipped with a wide variety of toys, art supplies and games. There are even fitness bikes that control the action on a TV. Your kids will encourage you to workout just so they can hang out in Great Lakes childcare!

If for some reason we encounter any problems with your children, you will be notified immediately. For added convenience and peace of mind, there is a monitor in the women’s private workout room so that you may check on your child at all times.

 

Childcare Hours

Monday – Friday 8am-8pm
Saturday - Sunday 8am-3pm

 

Cost Per Session

One/First Child $3

Additional Children $1/each

 

Please follow these simple rules for Great Lakes Health & Fitness' childcare:

  1. Same Parent must sign child in and out.
  2. Parent must not leave the facility at all for any reason after signing in child.
  3. Parent must not leave child in childcare for more than 2 hours.
  4. Parent must be sure to have their child freshly changed (for those wearing diapers) and fed before dropping off.
  5. Parent must supply their own diapers, wipes, change of clothing (in case of accidents), snacks for their own child, bottles, and cups (in non spill/leak-proof containers). All liquids such as juices must be clear, no grape juice, etc.
  6. If your child is sick with any contagious illness, they may not enter the childcare facility. If your child is showing any of the following symptoms such as: diarrhea, vomiting, fever, excessive runny nose, please be courteous to the other children, parents, and our caregivers and do not bring them.
  7. We cannot give any medication to your child.
  8. The age requirements are from 8 weeks old to 10 years old.

 

We hope to offer the best experience possible for the families at Great Lakes Health & Fitness. In order to do so, we will be actively involved with your child when they are in our childcare room. If for some reason we encounter any problems with your child, you will be notified immediately. For your convenience, the televisions on all equipment can access the childcare area by tuning in to channel 90.
